We’re excited to announce that our Director and Chief Metrologist, Dr Annette Koo, will become the Director of the BIPM this September. As part of our World Metrology Day celebration, we marked 150 years of the Metre Convention and embraced the 2025 theme: Measurements for all times, for all people. We’re pleased to share some highlights and images from the event.

Let's celebrate! Keith Jones is made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, we gathered for another fantastic World Metrology Day where we launched te reo Māori versions of two of our most popular resources, and Ellie Molloy received the MSA Emerging Metrologist award for 2024.
