Biography
Johannes joined the MSL Light team in 2026.
Having grown up and completed his education in Germany, he chose to make New Zealand his home, embracing the Kiwi lifestyle, meeting his wife, and building a beautiful family with their two daughters.
Professionally, he spent several years at GNS Science as the lead operator of the Particle Accelerator, primarily focused on radiocarbon dating, while also contributing to the groundwater dating team. He later transitioned into Quality, Health & Safety, and Compliance auditing roles across the vertical construction, social housing, and manufacturing sectors.
When he’s not working, Johannes can be found tackling DIY projects, enjoying the beauty of New Zealand’s outdoors, and brewing beer.
