Course overview

The aim of the short (approx. half day) course is to provide guidance for the calibration of ordinary laboratory spectrophotometers.

Programme Outline

The course is highly interactive and includes hands-on sessions to develop practical skills.

  • Use and handling of neutral density filters
  • Use and handling of wavelength calibration filters
  • Calibration of the spectrophotometer
  • Wavelength and photometric accuracy
  • Uncertainty of measurement
